Camel Safari 2
(4 days Safari in the
white desert) |
Day 1:
Drive from Cairo via
Bahariya Oasis (360 km)
by minibus, lunch break
on the way (at
Palma Village Hotel). We
meet the camels on the
main road beside Gebel
Gunna (20 km from the
Farafra Oasis/Gharb =
West). After getting
acquainted with handling
and riding the camels,
we ride to Barani, where
we will spend the night
camping (approx. 20 km/Gharb
= West).
Day 2:
In the morning we ride
to the White House. We
will pass the famous
Mushrooms,
limestone sculptures in
the White Desert (Sharg
= East). After an
unforgettable sunset, we
enjoy the stew cooked by
open fire and sleep
under the stars (approx.
30 km).
Day 3:
After breakfast we start
riding to Wadi El
Obaiyed (Gharb = West).
We spend the day
enjoying the impressive
landscape of the White
Desert (approx. 25 km).
Day 4:
After breakfast we
ride to the main road
beside Bir Regwa, where
we say good-bye to
the camels and get into
the minibus. We take a
little break at the
Crystal Mountain, then
we proceed and have our
lunch box at the
Cafeteria El Heiz. We
continue and take
another little break at
the Black Desert.
Arrival at Cairo before
sunset.
