General informations
about our programs |
Tour character:
Our desert tours are
unforgettable and
exiting in many ways yet
it is worth underlining
their unconventional
characters. It is
expected of our
participants to be
equipped with the right
spirit of playing along.
During the tour there
are no facilities, no
showers, yet water is
abundant. Frequent
snacks are available
during the day. Evening
meals are cooked with
field equipment and
usually served around
camp fire, overnight are
in sleeping bags
provided by the company.
Short hikes are frequent
and the three hour climb
to Mountain Moses peak
demands some extra
efforts. Swimming and
Coral watching are also
among the highlights of
the tour.
Vehicles:
All our desert safaries
are conducted by equiped
4x4 Toyota Land Cruisers.
We have the Air
conditioned luxurious
model, in addition, to
the open back model.
Personal gear:
All particiapnts should
have good walking shoes,
light clothes for the
day, and heavy ones for
the night. They should
have water canteens that
can hold 1 or 2 litters
of water. they should
not forget to bring
along their swimsuits,
towels sun hats, sun
glasses and sun tan
cream.
Drinking water &
showers:
As known, there is no
water in the desert, to
drink or to shower. We
supply drinking water in
each vehicle. Sometimes
locally supplied water
is salty. Those who are
interested may by fresh
water at low prices
almost in any canteen.
On the other hand, a
shower can be taken in
the Monaster in St.
Catherine or have a good
swim in the sea.
Food:
All our desert
excursions are full
board. we have breakfast
before leaving the night
camp, then we eat lunch
during the course of our
tour, and at night we
cook dinner around camp
fire, with the help of
our particiapnts to cook
and clean up.
Guides:
Our guides have been
especially trained for
our tourist. They are
all professionals and
best in their field. We
do our best to satisfy
our tourist and arrange
for them guides in their
mother language. However,
you have to consider the
facty, that these
languages are not the
guides' mother tongue,
and therefore there can
be some
misunderstandings.
Insurance:
Although we have
contracted adequate
insurance cover locally,
to meet legal
requirements, we
recommend that
participants arrange
their own insurance to
cover items such as
medical and other
expenses, personal
accidents, cancellation
and loss of baggages. |
